3. High capacity transmission systems and all optical signal processing
Overview:
Our group has many-fold activities in the field of optical processing and high capacity sub-systems. Since the 90's numerous results have been published on a number of applications such as amplification, coherent signal processing, wavelength conversion, all-optical regeneration, optical logic, switching utilizing semiconductors and optical fibers. Many of the activities on the aforementioned applications are funded by EU and local grants.
